There are a few ways to send instant rewards using Promotion Vault. Simply choose the sending mode that matches your goals, then brand the experience and set any necessary tags or controls. All three options below are built into Promotion Vault and can be executed in minutes.
How To Send Instant Rewards
- Pick the right send type for the job. You can send via Quick Send, Add to Promotion, or Reward Links — each purpose-built for different workflows.
- Brand the redemption experience. Reward Links route recipients to a custom-branded landing page (or directly to their Rewards Vault) for a seamless handoff.
- Control reward value and catalog. Set the dollar amount and choose which digital gift cards to provide from our catalog; all options are available by default, and you can narrow to specific retailers when needed.
- Tag and track consistently. Add names, tags, and parameters as you send to preserve clean reporting and program integrity. (Available in Quick Send and Promotions.)
Sending Instant Rewards To Your Members, Customers, & Prospects (Step-By-Step)
Choose one of the three paths below based on your needs. Whatever you choose though, rest assured that you can easily ship rewards today, if you need!
Option 1 — Quick Send (fastest for ad-hoc or mixed amounts)
- In the sidebar, select Quick Send.
- Enter recipient email and/or mobile, name, and amount (single or multiple sends).
- (Optional) Add tags and customize SMS/email subject & body under Advanced Settings.
- Set any reward parameters and submit.
Result: Immediate sends! This is best for one-offs or varied values. If you’re repeating the same value for the same action, a Promotion will scale better.
Option 2 — Add to Promotion (scalable for one action, one value)
- Go to Promotions → Create New.
- Enter name, amount, and dates (if applicable).
- Add tags.
- In Advanced Promotion Settings, customize parameters as needed, then Submit.
- Catalog control (optional). Choose which digital gift cards you want your reward recipients to choose from via our catalog; otherwise, all options will be available.
Result: A persistent container to manage and send rewards that share the same action and value (e.g., survey complete, referral, review). Use Promotions for ongoing programs where consistency and reporting discipline matter.
Option 3 — Reward Links (self-serve distribution at scale)
- From your dashboard, open Reward Links → Create New.
- Set quantity and amount.

- Catalog control (optional). Narrow to specific retailers when creating your links; default is all reward options.
Result: Share unique URLs that drive to a branded landing page (or direct to Rewards Vault via Direct Reward Links); recipients self-redeem. Use Reward Links when you need flexible, on-your-time distribution.
